So this is where I talk about me, right?

Well, here I go...

I was born and raised in Arizona and have been dancing for as long as I've been breathing. Much of my time in diapers was spent dancing and flipping all over the house (Ive seen my videos). After nearly 25 years as a dancer, Im still in awe of the places I've visited and the amazing people I've met through the dance industry.

I danced at a top Arizona studio all through grade school and competed at numerous regional and national competitions. I was a 6 time Dance Champion and won numerous scholarships. I went to Dobson High School and where I danced all three years with their dance company, DDC and all three years as a Varsity cheerleader. My senior year was spent as Vice President of DDC, CO-Captain on Varsity, choreographer for Pom, and dance teacher assistant for 3 classes. Just two months after high school graduation,  I auditioned and was placed on the  NBA’s Phoenix Suns.  And to think, this was all before I could buy a lottery ticket.

What followed my great season with the Phoenix Suns, was 1 year as a UCA Cheer Instructor and 5 years as a Instructor/Head Instructor/National Judge with UDA.  Thinking that I was ready for a climate change, I moved to Seattle and was lucky enough to dance for the NBA's Seattle Sonics for 2 years. I was also one of seven dancers chosen to perform for our US troops in Kuwait, Tikrit, Baghdad and Germany in 2008. To date, this is still one of my most memorable dance experiences and one that I will cherish for the rest of my life.

After Seattle, I moved back to Arizona for two years and worked as a Company Director at a Gilbert dance studio. At that time I realized that I wanted to further my dance training and career, so I set my sights to New York City.  In 2011, I was accepted into the prestigious New York City’s Broadway Dance Center Professional Semester program. I trained and was mentored by some of the best teachers and had the opportunities to dance in Time Square, Fashion Night Out with Coco Rocha and Damaris Lewis, NYC’s Choreographer’s Carnival and on Good Morning America.

Upon completing my time in New York, I was hired as a dancer, dance captain and aerialist with Norwegian Cruise Line and traveled 6 months around Barcelona, Venice and other amazing ports in Europe.

I currently work as a Company Director for Gilbert's premiere studio, Candance Studios, under the ownership of Chris and Candace Zuehlke. I also just completed my first year coaching pom at Gilbert High School.

In my spare time, (which is not very much), I decided to start my own dancewear line, TheDanceAddiction.com. Very excited for the future and expansion of that company so be sure to check it out.

My newest venture is something I have been extremely dedicated about for over 10 years and I feel like this is MY time to positively impact the dance world and industry. I am developing a dance camp company that changes the "norm" and pushes the envelope.

I have studied, taught, choreographed and judged dance and cheer in more than 16 states, Canada, Europe, and has been invited to dance in China, Australia, and India. I don't know where dance will take me next, but I'm remember, better yet, excited to see!
